Angelica gigas

Popular for it's dramatic form and dense muted purple flower domes thrust 4 feet into the air.  A favourite of world famous garden designer Piet Oudolf, and much used in our garden here.  Easy to associate with the taller ornamental grasses where the contrasting form work well.
